The Sewanee Church Music Conference was founded in 1951, and for 64 years it has been a leader in continuing education for church musicians. The opportunity not only to learn new skills and refresh old ones but also to share experiences and ideas with colleagues from across the country is invaluable.
The conference is located amidst some of the most picturesque and inspiring settings available. The DuBose Conference Center is an historic site located in Monteagle, Tennessee. Nearby is the campus of The University of the South where many of the conference activities take place. Venues include the Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired Chapel of the Apostles on the School of Theology campus and the Gothic splendor of the University's All Saints' Chapel-the setting for Friday afternoon Choral Evensong and the Festival Eucharist on Sunday morning.
