In a continuing effort to promote the mission of the Sewanee Church Music Conference, which is to offer continuing education and enrichment opportunities to those serving as musicians in the liturgical tradition, we are excited to offer an opportunity to full or part time students, which would pay the cost of the conference registration fee, amounting to $450 (excluding room and board). This award is available for persons of all ages either serving as an existing director of music in a liturgical church, choir member in a liturgical church, or a student of music pursuing education leading to professional credentials as a full or part time church musician serving in a liturgical church. Due to the generosity of the estate of the late Dr. Ron Doiron, we are proud to offer this award, which we have named the Doiron Fellowship. 

Requirements for consideration of the award are:
1.     A copy of a student's current school identification 
2.     A letter of reference from a a member of the clergy serving in direct authority of the student or church musician, or a reference from a            qualified music professional known to the conference.
