Gerry Senechal began his musical career at the age of eight when he became organist of the Episcopal church where his father was Rector. At ten, he joined the Choir of Men and Boys at All Saints Church in Worcester, Massachusetts under the direct of Ron Stalford, eventually being appointed Head Chorister. He served as Music Intern at West End United Methodist Church in Nashville before beginning at St. George's Episcopal Church, Nashville in 2004, where he has remained ever since. He Holds degrees in church music from the University of the South and Belmont University.
At St. George's Church, Gerry presides over the new John Paul Buzard organ, Opus 48, an incredibly colorful instrument boasting four manuals and 58 ranks. It was installed in 2022.
